"The monk and the fish"

This was our first story of the class. With this story we started to know the Kidspiration tool which we used with the rest of the stories. 

This is a simple story that the children know through a video that it has not voice so they only can see the images and hear the music which it provides them a real environment.

To work this story we used the kidspiration, specifically we used the retell the story template. With it we can work word and sentence level and we did it. This template helps the children to understand much better the stories.

First they have to complete charts which they are the most essential things of the story, for example the main character, the stages of the story... with pictures of the story, so the students could understand easier the story. 

After that, the students pass to the sentence level for then they get to produce a text. To move into the sentence level they can use the same application because it provides the opportunity to write short sentences to explain each picture that they put before.

So finally they can produce a summary of the story without problems.
